Straw Into Gold Tunic
My second published pattern . . . coming out in the Crochet! Magazine summer issue!
This is a true summer tunic . . . open, lacy and worked in 100% wetspun linen. The sparkles come from stranding in a novelty yarn called "Little Flowers". It is worked from the top down, so you can easily adjust the length.
Thank you Crochet! Magazine for a new issue full of great summer patterns.
PATTERN ERRATA: The errors occur when joining after the last shell worked on a round.
A full pattern repeat takes three rounds. On rounds 1 and 2, there are 5 chains between each shell. On round 3, there is a ch 2, sc around both ch-5 strands below, ch 2 between each shell. This final instruction before the join is missing on the following rounds - now highlighted below.
Yoke - Rnd 3 and Body - Rnds 3 and 6
. . . times, ch 2, sc around both ch-5 strands below, ch 2, join in 3rd ch of beg shell.
Body - Rnds 4 & 5
. . . times, ch 5, join in 3rd ch of beg shell.
